Description: This interactive workshop will begin with a presentation and group discussion inviting participants to reflect on their sense of purpose and professional identity. Drawing from Anne-Laurie’s master’s research, the workshop will also introduce collage as an arts-based method for inquiry, teaching, research, and reflection across disciplines. Participants will then be invited to create their own collage exploring professional identity. This hands-on activity is designed to encourage creative expression while creating space for reflection, dialogue, and connection. Participants may choose whether or not to share their collage with the group. No prior arts-based experience is required. The workshop is open to anyone interested in reflective practice, professional identity, whole person care, or arts-based methods. Participants who wish to stay after the workshop will be invited to eat lunch together (either through a shared food order or by bringing their own meal). If possible, please also bring magazines or books that can be repurposed for collage-making.
